Biography
Ricardo Teixeira (Ricardo M. Gaspar Teixeira, b. 1991) is a Portuguese photographer, researcher and explorer, originally from the island of Pico in the Azores, now based in Lisbon.
Island life, the dramatic oceanic landscapes, and the Pico Mountain instilled in him a deep appreciation for the natural world and a sense of nostalgia that permeates his work.
Exploring existential questions that arise from our interaction with the environment — questions about identity, belonging, and the transient nature of our existence.
